Objectives
Based on the expertise of the different participants, WP1 provides a state of the art on the three pillars of the project i.e. Anchors and regional development, networks and regional development and the interplay between networks and anchors. To share knowledge amongst the different teams and to disseminate our understanding of the forefront of knowledge, WP1 performs three levels of analysis of the existing literature:
- identifying the main results of economic and managerial contributions regarding the role of anchor firms in the innovation dynamics and structuring the networks in a local area.
- Identifying the main methodologies performed to link anchor firms and networks on the one hand and regional performances on the other hand;
- Identifying the role of public policies (policy to foster innovation, competition policies, policies to enhance clusters and cooperation, policies to stimulate the creation of start-ups,…) regarding anchor firms.
Description of work
Task 2.1 Before the kick off meeting, partner 5 will send all the partners specification about the three levels of analysis
Task 2.2 Lead respectively by partner 1 and 5, states of the art on networks and regional development and Anchors and regional development will be written based on everyone contribution.
Task 2.3 The state of the art will be discussed in M2.
Task 2.4 Based on the first draft partner 5 will lead the preparation of D2.2 which will be presented and discussed during M3
